Tour the Vineyard

We grow seven varietals for production of wine in our two vineyard sites: Hillside and Creekside. In addition to these seven varietals, we have a special study row with seven other varieties dedicated to a Southern Oregon climate research program.

A tour of the vineyard will take you through 14 different varieties to observe and taste the grapes, especially during harvest time when the fruit is luscious and sweet. The additional varieties are Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Grenache, Viognier, Riesling, Malbec and Mourvedre. As these grapes ripen, it is truly an education to walk these rows and observe the changes and differences in varietals and to also have the opportunity to sample the fruit and taste and compare the difference between the red and white varietals.

Our visitors are always welcome to tour our vineyards on their own with permission from the owners. You can also request a private tour and have an opportunity to ask questions about our viticulture program.

Delfino Vineyards has been blessed with the assistance of several students who have helped us plant, prune and harvest our Hillside vineyard and establish our new Creekside vineyard.
